The boreholes database is an inventory of subsurface data in Catalonia through the collection of available geological and geotechnical survey information. The surveys are classified into three groups: surveys, penetrometers and trial pits.
-
Methodological report defining how to characterize flooding and erosion along the Catalan coast, considering present conditions and climate-change scenarios (SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5). It proposes combining wave and sea-level data (IH Cantabria, CNRM), calculating flood elevation (MM+MA+run-up+SLR), and using the XBeach model (1D/2D) to delineate hazard, alongside an approach to estimate erosion and assess risk in GIS.
-
Technical report describing the execution of boreholes and CPTU tests in six coastal plains of Catalonia to characterize Holocene deposits and determine their geotechnical properties.
-
Methodological report setting theoretical bases, parameters and mapping guidance to incorporate active and recent coastal processes into the 1:25,000 geo-anthropic map, describing morphology, morphodynamics, driving agents and proposed indicators and symbology.
-
Report developed under contract H-3/2024 between ICM-CSIC and ICGC that defines an integrated methodology for characterizing the recent sedimentary cover of the Catalan coast. It details protocols from planning and acquisition of high-resolution seismic profiles to the processing and storage of data and samples (surface samples and vibrocores), aiming to obtain reliable, reproducible and high-quality data tailored to the project objectives.

Extension report of the rapid response works for the late October and early November 2023 sea storms
Extension report of the rapid response works for the late October and early November 2023 sea storms of late October and early November 2023.

3D model of Port del Comte aquifers, developed as part of the assessment of underground water resources available in Catalonia. More specifically, this model contains the lithological-hydrogeological units, the main geological structures, the topographic surface of the project area, the location of the main karst springs and the saturated rock volumes of the water reservoirs associated with each of the springs
-
Report describing the maritime storm that occurred between 19 and 23 January 2017 and compiling visual, documentary and cartographic information on rainfall, wind, waves and damages, including municipal questionnaires, press review, field surveys and scarp mapping.
-
Report describing the background and methodology for analysing erosion and sediment production in Catalan basins, including previous studies and the Iber model.
-
Report extending the identification of geological hazards to 15 urban sectors within the Girona Coastal PDU RSNS, detailing methodology, hazard-identification criteria, sector results and planning recommendations.
