The points identified in this data set correspond to: urban facilities, companies and shops, hotels and restaurants, municipal offices or places of interest. For each point, the name of the place or establishment, the postal address and an external link are displayed interactively. The set of geographical information also offers a map, in PDF format, indicating the names of the main streets and facilities. Finally, the data set also provides the link to the SITMUN web portal.

Aquests expedients corresponen a les figures de planejament general i derivat que defineix la llei d'urbanisme (TÍTOL TERCER, capítol I).

Classificació del sòl segons els conceptes definits al Decret Legislatiu 1/2010, del 3 d'agost, pel qual s'aprova el text refós de la Llei d'Urbanisme de Catalunya en el capítol I del títol segon, que determina que aquest pot ser sòl urbà, sòl urbanitzable o sòl no urbanitzable. Les figures de planejament general (el PGM en el cas dels municipis que en formen part o els POUM per la resta de municipis) són les encarregades d’efectuar aquesta classificació, si bé, en el transcurs del temps, les figures de planejament posteriors la poden fer variar, ja sigui perquè es consolida com a sòl urbà mitjançant l'execució de les determinacions contingudes en les figures de planejament derivat (Plans Parcials, Plans Especials, o Plans de Millora Urbana) o perquè es modifiquen o s'actualitzen les previsions del planejament general (mitjançant Modificació de Pla General o Programa d'Actuació Urbanística). En certs casos, a més, la veritable consecució d'aquestes modificacions depèn de figures de gestió que no són estrictament Planejament Derivat. És aquesta la raó per la qual la informació de la Classificació del Sòl que oferim és una "proposta".
