ATOM service for downloading information related to Theme 1 - Statistical units, of Annex III of the INSPIRE Directive, in the geographical area of Catalonia. The service allows the download of the dataset of Counties of Catalonia, according the Directive requirements, derived from the Administrative boundaries of Catalonia.

Methodological report defining how to characterize flooding and erosion along the Catalan coast, considering present conditions and climate-change scenarios (SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5). It proposes combining wave and sea-level data (IH Cantabria, CNRM), calculating flood elevation (MM+MA+run-up+SLR), and using the XBeach model (1D/2D) to delineate hazard, alongside an approach to estimate erosion and assess risk in GIS.

This data mainly includes: a map of sea surface temperature recorded the previous day in Catalonia, which is updated daily; a chart showing the daily average sea surface temperature in the Mediterranean, along with the annual trends from recent years and historical records from 1982 to 2019; and finally, another real-time map indicating the areas currently experiencing marine heatwaves. On the same website where this data is presented, more detailed information about this phenomenon can also be found.

Report developed under contract H-3/2024 between ICM-CSIC and ICGC that defines an integrated methodology for characterizing the recent sedimentary cover of the Catalan coast. It details protocols from planning and acquisition of high-resolution seismic profiles to the processing and storage of data and samples (surface samples and vibrocores), aiming to obtain reliable, reproducible and high-quality data tailored to the project objectives.
