This study analyzes the historical transformation and current situation of the dune landscape in Catalonia.

Una ortofoto consisteix en una fotografia aèria vertical amb escala constant i propietats d’una projecció ortogonal, elaborada a partir d’un mosaic d’imatges aèries rectificades. Per tant una ortofoto té les propietats mètriques d’un mapa i la informació d’una fotografia, i a més està georeferenciada, el que permet poder superposar-la amb altra informació geogràfica de caràcter ràster o vectorial. Aquesta ortofoto està elaborada a partir del vol fotogramètric realitzat el juliol de 2016, i abasta les platges de l’àrea metropolitana de Barcelona (excepte el Port de Barcelona).

It contains data relating to the relief, the hydrography, the transportation networks, the settlement and the auxiliary infrastructures, the toponymy, the reference points and a reduced set of land cover and vegetation classes. The reference scale is 1:25 000.
