- The compliance of the metadata is evaluated using the "INSPIRE Reference Validator" web tool. The metadata is considered correct when the only errors reported are related with the main language of the metadata file. These errors are due to the fact that Catalan is not included in the list of official languages of the European Union.

- The soil information comes from the mapping work and specific soil studies carried out directly on the ground, from the chemical analysis of the samples collected during this work and from the field tests carried out to determine some physical characteristics. In addition, soil mapping work takes into account the analysis and interpretation of aerial photographs, orthophotos, land elevation models and detailed information on agricultural areas.
