- Spatial extent covers the territory of Sabadell. The 1:500 scale elements are part of the urbanized and consolidated areas of the municipality. The 1:1,000 scale elements are inscribed in the undeveloped areas of the municipality. Both areas are defined by the polygons 'Límit 500' and 'Límit 1000' contained in the complementary file 'Annex 1 - Límit cartografia 500 i 1000.dgn' (the Annex 1 of the technical specifications shows an image sample of this file). Temporal extent refers to the dates of the source information.

- The compliance of the metadata is evaluated using the "INSPIRE Reference Validator" web tool. The metadata is considered correct when the only errors reported are related with the main language of the metadata file. These errors are due to the fact that Catalan is not included in the list of official languages of the European Union.

- The cartography has been obtained by means of photogrammetric restitution from aerial photography, topographic surveys, field review and taking of measures according to the methods foreseen in the "Technical specifications of the 2D topographic cartography of the City Council of Sabadell at 1:500 and 1:1,000 scales v1.2 (October 2021)". The interiors of the block of houses are not represented in the municipal cartography. This is due to the fact that Sabadell City Council has an agreement with the General Directorate of Cadastre (DGC), and it is the Cadastre section that maintains this information based on the existing cartography. The difference between 1:500 and 1:1,000 cartography is the distribution of contour lines and the conformity of positional accuracy. The cartography is separated into Basic Cartography and Thematic Cartography. The data corresponding to the Basic Cartography are distributed in sheets according to the cut of sheets described in Annex 2 of the technical specifications, while the data corresponding to the Thematic Cartography are distributed in files of municipal scope. Also consider that Thematic Cartography includes data with different update frequency, as explained in the technical specifications. Despite the existence of different sources of information, the data model does not provide for the distinction of captured elements in the phase of photogrammetry, tachymetry or field review.
