Territorial Topographic Reference of Catalonia v1.0 2018

The Territorial topographic referential constitutes the topographic base of reference with total coverage of the territory of Catalonia, and it includes information regarding relief, hydrography, roads and transport networks, buildings, constructions and facilities, land cover and geographical names. The elements are geometrically continuous (except in the case of too big polygons, due to the difficulty of their management within a GIS), the elements of the hydrographic network are connected and the road network is hierarchical.

Statement
With the aim of linking the updating of information to the real dynamics of changes in the territory, this set of information is generated from the most up-to-date information contained in the different cartographic bases that the ICGC produces, regardless of the scale at which the data was captured. In a first edition, however, the information is derived from the Capture Base of v3 of the 1:5,000 Topographic Base of Catalonia, which has been compiled mainly by photogrammetric restitution.
