- The organization of the data of this cartography has two levels: the first one is named project and groups the zones produced in the same order. The second level is the sheet, which corresponds to the division in 40x40 sheets of the Mapa Topográfico Nacional 1:50 000. The set of information to which this metadata is referring to is that of the level "project". The area covered by the project is defined by a polygon or a grouping of polygons, which is delivered together with the data. Its horizontal extension is described in this metadata using geographic coordinates with the minimum and maximum longitude and latitude of the minimal rectangle that contains the sheets of the project, which are whole or in part within the covered area. Therefore, it is an approximate geographic area. The vertical extension refers to terrain altitudes. The temporal extension refers to the dates of the flight or flights from which the cartography has been elaborated.

- Field revision and editing. The goal is to revise and to complete the elements of the data dictionary which it is not possible to obtain in complete way in the stereo plotting phase. It is the case, for example, of the compilation of terraces, balconies, roofs and eaves as a line of façade because these elements conceal it; the omissions of the non perceivable elements in the photography and of the hidden details from shadows, projections of buildings, trees or artificial or natural obstacles; and also errors of interpretation. Likewise, the toponymic information is obtained mainly on the terrain.
