Map for the prevention of geological risks 1:25 000 v1.1
The Map for the Prevention of Geological Risks is a document that represents the geological hazard of the territory at a scale of 1:25,000. It is a multi-hazard map, which offers an overview of the hazards identified in the territory. The territory is zoned, for each hazard considered, into high, medium and low hazard, and is represented according to traffic lights. The symbology used allows the type of phenomenon causing the hazard to be identified, while the phenomena and indicators of this hazard are represented.

- Purpose
- The main objective is to support territorial planning. The delimitation of areas with geological hazards allows for a 1:25,000 scale a view of the danger of the territory, and to take it into consideration in planning.

- Name of measure
- Compliance with INSPIRE requirements (data)
- Evaluation method description
- The data of this dataset do not aim to achieve compliance with INSPIRE regulations. For this reason, its conformity is not evaluated and it is declared not conformant compliant by default.

Domain consistency
- Name of measure
- Compliance with INSPIRE requirements (metadata)
- Evaluation method description
- The compliance of the metadata is evaluated using the "INSPIRE Reference Validator" web tool. The metadata is considered correct when the only errors reported are related with the main language of the metadata file. These errors are due to the fact that Catalan is not included in the list of official languages of the European Union.

- Statement
- The cartography of phenomena and activity indicators is carried out based on information obtained from the collection and analysis of available historical documentation; from the analysis and interpretation of aerial photographs of old and recent flights, and orthophoto images; from field reconnaissance, as well as from surveys carried out in the population. To determine susceptibility, susceptible areas are delimited, both from the areas where the phenomena can be generated (exit zones) and from those that can be affected along their route (route and arrival zones). The delimitation of the susceptibility zones is carried out based on the inventory of phenomena, activity and geomorphological indicators, and from the identification of favorable lithologies and terrain morphologies. This phase includes the performance of numerical modeling to support the determination of the exit and reach zones. For the determination of the hazard, the susceptible areas are classified according to their hazard based on the analysis of the intensity and frequency of the observed or potential phenomena. For each phenomenon the determination of the intensity varies and is determined on the basis of the expected dimensions and energies, while the frequency is determined from the inventory of phenomena and activity indices. The hazard has been represented with 3 degrees: low, medium and high, represented in yellow, orange and red, respectively. The unidentified hazard has been left without color.
