Weather radars network v1.0 - March 2022
Provides information on the identification, location and status of the network of radars (XRAD) owned by the Meteorological Service of Catalonia, which has four radars integrated into the XRAD. The XRAD is designed for the identification of meteorological echoes in the atmosphere and to provide quantitative estimates of rainfall of great meteorological and hydrological interest. The network is made up of four Doppler type radars that operate in band C: the radar of Vallirana, the radar of Puig d’Arques, the radar of Panadella and the radar of Tivissa-Llaberia. It is a 2D vectorial set of geographic information at 1:5.000 scale.

- The data of this dataset do not aim to achieve compliance with INSPIRE regulations. For this reason, its conformity is not evaluated and it is declared not conformant compliant by default.

- Evaluation method description
- The compliance of the metadata is evaluated using the "INSPIRE Reference Validator" web tool. The metadata is considered correct when the only errors reported are related with the main language of the metadata file. These errors are due to the fact that Catalan is not included in the list of official languages of the European Union.

- The coordinates of the location of the radars are captured on the Topographic Base at 1:5.000 scale generated by the Cartographic and Geologic Institute of Catalonia. Coordinates are taken in meters, without decimals, but are also stored in longitude and latitude with 5 decimals.
