On line tool that provides the variable information specific for each of the sheets in which the data set is cut for distribution purposes: sheet identifier, territorial coverage (horizontal extent), range of dates of the flights from which the sheet has been obtained (temporal extent), resolution, data source type and image dimensions (number of pixels per row and column).

- The compliance of the metadata is evaluated using the "INSPIRE Reference Validator" web tool. The metadata is considered correct when the only errors reported are related with the main language of the metadata file. These errors are due to the fact that Catalan is not included in the list of official languages of the European Union.

- Generically, the orthophotos are obtained by geometric rectification of vertical aerial images in such a way that a uniform scale is maintained throughout the surface of the images. Orthophotos are generated by pixel aggregation or disaggregation depending on the resolution of the images used as the source.
