On line tool that provides the variable information specific for each of the sheets in which the data set is cut for distribution purposes: sheet identifier, territorial coverage (horizontal extent), range of dates of the flights from which the sheet has been obtained (temporal extent), resolution, data source type and image dimensions (number of pixels per row and column).

- Evaluation method description
- The compliance of the metadata is evaluated using the "INSPIRE Reference Validator" web tool. The metadata is considered correct when the only errors reported are related with the main language of the metadata file. These errors are due to the fact that Catalan is not included in the list of official languages of the European Union.

- NDVI orthoimages are generated from images obtained by a photogrammetric aerial camera, capable of obtaining information not only from the visible range of the electromagnetic spectrum but also from the near infrared, and with a pixel size spanning about 25 cm above the ground. By combining the information captured in the red and near-infrared band, following the formula below, NDVI is obtained, which is the value assigned to each pixel: NDVI = (near-infrared - red) / (near infrared + red). Then, the images are geometrically rectified, based on a 5 m resolution terrain elevation model, and a mosaic is made to obtain a continuous orthoimage of the whole of Catalonia that ends up covering 1 m of the territory for each pixel.
