Geothermal 3D model of the Fossa del Camp v1.0
Geothermal 3D model of the Fossa del Camp, developed as part of the Deep Geothermal energy project (GeoEnergia-GP) by the ICGC. More specifically, this model contains the lithological units, the main geological structures, the geothermal model with the 3D temperature and geothermal potential distribution of several mesozoic aquifers in the Fossa del Camp, the location of the exploration drilling Reus-1 and the topographic surface of the scope of the project.

- Purpose
- Promote the implementation and management of deep geothermal resources; promote knowledge of the subsoil, divulge the deep geothermal resource available in Catalonia and facilitate the management and protection of underground water as a water and thermal resource; and enable analysis operations and queries to be carried out, with the possibility of generating other layers of information and reports.

- Description
- Fossa del Camp and specifically from the Camp fault that acts as the northwest limit of the model area to the Camp thrust and the coastline in the southeast. It includes the towns of Reus, Valls, Cambrils, Vila-seca, Constantí and Vila-rodona among others. Temporal extent refers to the dates of the source information.

Domain consistency
- Name of measure
- Compliance with INSPIRE requirements (data)
- Evaluation method description
- The data of this dataset do not aim to achieve compliance with INSPIRE regulations. For this reason, its conformity is not evaluated and it is declared not conformant compliant by default.

Domain consistency
- Name of measure
- Compliance with INSPIRE requirements (metadata)
- Evaluation method description
- The compliance of the metadata is evaluated using the "INSPIRE Reference Validator" web tool. The metadata is considered correct when the only errors reported are related with the main language of the metadata file. These errors are due to the fact that Catalan is not included in the list of official languages of the European Union.

- Statement
- The geothermal model for calculating the deep geothermal potential of the Mesozoic aquifers of the Fossa del Camp has been developed from a 3D geological model adjusted through geophysical inversion of gravimetric data. Once the final geometries of the different lithological and structural units of the 3D model are obtained, and using a regular mesh voxet, the geothermal potential of the Jurassic, Middle Triassic Upper Muschelkalk or M3, Middle Triassic Early Muschelkalk or M1 and Early Triassic Buntsandstein or B1 are calculated using the 3DHIP-Calculator tool (Piris et al., 2020) that allows the stochastic calculation using the volumetric method or Heat In Place (HIP) (Muffler and Cataldi, 1977; Muffler, L.J.P., 1979) obtaining the distribution function of the resource available for different probabilities (P10, P50 and P90).
