- Evaluation method description
- The compliance of the metadata is evaluated using the "INSPIRE Reference Validator" web tool. The metadata is considered correct when the only errors reported are related with the main language of the metadata file. These errors are due to the fact that Catalan is not included in the list of official languages of the European Union.

- The measurements of planar and linear structural elements that make up this set of geothematic information are acquired with geological compasses (analog, digital compasses or mobile phone applications) during the production of geological maps. The implementation of the data in the information set follows different methodologies depending on the source of information: In the case of maps published in paper format for which the original structural measurements were not available, the measurements are acquired with digital geometric capture techniques; In the case of maps for which the original structural measurement data is available, these are directly downloaded from the digital files. Several geological maps have been used to produce this set of information.
