Intensity limit zones on the exterior

- Identifier
- IDEC / mapa-proteccio-civil-lc1
- Name
- Map of civil protection in Catalonia
- Purpose
- The definition of the defenseless zone in reference to self-protection is necessary to establish a control of the compatibility of the implementation of new vulnerable elements with the management of chemical risk in industrial establishments handling dangerous substances. Compatibility refers to the particularly intense effects of the emergency and, therefore, to the criticality of the application in self-protection measures. The value corresponds to the area LC1% or mortality 1% abroad in case of emergency (without considering the probability of the accident).

- Compliance with INSPIRE requirements (metadata)
- Evaluation method description
- The compliance of the metadata is evaluated using the "INSPIRE Reference Validator" web tool. The metadata is considered correct when the only errors reported are related with the main language of the metadata file. These errors are due to the fact that Catalan is not included in the list of official languages of the European Union.
