- The compliance of the metadata is evaluated using the "INSPIRE Reference Validator" web tool. The metadata is considered correct when the only errors reported are related with the main language of the metadata file. These errors are due to the fact that Catalan is not included in the list of official languages of the European Union.

- This geoinformation is obtained from the information provided by the industrial establishments when processing files of the Register of agricultural and food industries of Catalonia (RIAAC), the database of the Register of industrial establishments of Catalonia (REIC), the Department of Business and Labour, through the geocoding service of the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (ICGC) and through the manual search in the Guide of streets of Catalonia in cases where the location could not be obtained with other mechanisms.
