Grasslands. Surrounding areas
The dataset contains the polygons of surrounding areas of grasslands or prairies of marine phanerogams. Bounding areas are zones in the sea near the shoreline where there is known to be grassland.

- Merge of the polygons of the Grasslands or prairies of marine phanerogams dataset. In the case that the areas are very small and close, envelopes have been created with geographic information systems methods before making the mentioned merge. A circle of 30 m radius has been created around control points that were not within any known area. Reliability of knowledge sources is stated in the 'Degree of reliability of the grasslands' dataset.
