- The compliance of the metadata is evaluated using the "INSPIRE Reference Validator" web tool. The metadata is considered correct when the only errors reported are related with the main language of the metadata file. These errors are due to the fact that Catalan is not included in the list of official languages of the European Union.

- The study has been carried out based on the following procedure: Collection and analysis of all existing prior information; Synthesis of the specific proposals already developed and defined that correspond to the port of Masnou and the transfer of sand; Carrying out a bathymetry to have a current photograph of the sands; Definition of exceptional storms due to their duration and erosion capacity (the aim is to see the most extreme scenarios that the sediment management strategy must face); Simulation of these erosive storms on the current seabed; Analysis of results and complement to the previous proposals.
