Statement: The origin of the data comes from the division made by the Catalan Health Service based on law 15/1990, of July 9, which regulates the division into basic health areas of urban and rural areas. The Catalan territory is divided into seven health regions, delimited based on geographical, socio-economic and demographic factors. Each region is organized, in turn, into health sectors, which group the so-called basic health areas, formed by neighborhoods or districts in urban areas, or by one or more municipalities in rural areas. In Granollers there are four basic areas: ABS Granollers 1 Oest (CAP Canovelles); ABS Granollers 2 Nord (CAP les Franqueses del Vallès); ABS Granollers 3 Centre (CAP I Vallès Oriental); ABS Granollers 4 Sud (CAP Sant Miquel). The first two serve part of the population of Granollers and also the municipalities of Canovelles and Les Franqueses del Vallès, respectively.
