Register waters
The Catalan Water Agency, as Basin Organization, has a Water Register comprises 3 sections (A, B, C) has a computer data structure and a book of entries (tokens enrollment). It officially enroll concessions waters, changes in ownership or changes to the characteristics of concessions, contracts of sale, the legalization of exploitation at a flow rate of 7,000 m3 / year and the uses of private waters (transitional provisions of the Water Act). Since the Water Register is public, and registration is the means of proof of the existence and location of the concession, anyone can apply for certification on the rights of registered water use to the Catalan Water Agency. Rights holders of registered water harvesting enjoy administrative protection.
